The people listed on the left below are all biologically related to each other, being descended from William Dumbleton c1735 and Elizabeth Watson c1742: see the PDF file dumbleton.pdf (PDF files open in a new tab). Those on the right are AncestryDNA matches with some of the others, as shown. (There may be other matches that I am not aware of. The superscripts D,T denote "matches Douglas" and "matches Terry", respectively. The people in italic are only distant matches, <20cM.)

The four people on the right above are descended from George Salmon and Elizabeth Nicholson, as shown in the PDF file dumb_1.pdf. These two were both born in 1824 near Coxwold in North Yorkshire, England, some way north west of Beverley where the Dumbletons came from.
